How does a man without an arm use a phone?

        Catering manager Trevor Prideaux found himself unable to use phones due to his unfortunate disability. With only one functional arm Trevor found it nearly impossible to use his phone as he pleased. After giving it some thought he came up with a solution. He then turned his prosthetic arm into a portable dock for his phone.

            But of course this was only a prototype and didn’t really function well. He now sought the help of apple. Apple however didn’t see the potential in the prosthetic potable dock. However Trevor did not give up he sought help elsewhere.  Finally Nokia lent him a hand and provided casings for the dock. After receiving a few and testing each one, he selected one for himself to keep as his new prosthetic phone dock arm. He then sent the casing to the Exeter Mobility Centre where tech heads tinkered with the arm making it functional for his phone.

            Trevor can now use his phone hands free without any problem. The only problem he now encounters are the updates which cost a pretty penny. I think this is a great idea that really benefits the handicap community.

What does a cover letter need?

A cover letter is a letter that gives you a preview of what you would contribute to said position. When an employer looks for a potential employee, he looks for someone who will benefit his company. A cover letter should be as grammatically correct as possible; include your skills and experience; the font should be plain and easy to understand. Finally your cover letter should be consistent all the way through.   

            Explain why you are applying for the job. Your cover letter should be interesting to your reader. Show that you are interested in whatever you are applying for. Try to make it as unique as possible so that the employer will remember you.

I found out that you can be making a good amount of money and still working an average amount of hours. A radiologist is not like a regular doctor, they do not have to be ready to respond to an emergency call. A radiologist just clocks in and reads the required amount of x-rays that day then checks out. A radiologist also works with the ultrasound equipment. A radiologist is a fully credited physician therefore they must complete the same requirements to become a physician as a general doctor. Which still includes eleven years of education; they must attend a medical school, and finally pass an examination from the National Board of Medical Examiners.

  A radiologist has very good health benefits. A radiologist can find work at a medical technology company. The pay is really not all that bad. A radiologist in Orange County on average is paid around 300,000 dollars a year.  Oak Valley Hospital only requires two years of experience. Education is not specified in requirements. There are many responsibilities that come with the job. At certain times you must be observing patients while they do the x-ray scans. You must also learn to perform maintenance on ultrasound equipment.

I found out I can be a doctor but not actually have to be working with the patient. Being a Radiologist sounds very good because I won’t have to be on call all the time in case something goes wrong or something tragic happens. All I would have to do is learn how to read x-rays and ultrasound graphs. The pay is very good and the benefits are about the same as a doctor.  I feel that being a radiologist is a perfect job for me. I like helping people indirectly not face to face.

An amazing new glitch for the Xbox360 hacking world has been found. Two geniuses, GliGli and Tyros, have found the glitch that allows them to drop unsigned codes on to the consol. Then they simply slow down the consoles response time all together in order to confuse the software not to restart itself. This will allow them to alter the consol altogether. According to the creators, GliGli and Tyros do not plan to use this new technique to mod or pirate any Microsoft software. In reality we don’t know what they are doing with the software and according to them there software cannot be patched by any patches Microsoft makes. This is defiantly not any easy hack to pull off. Even if you do everything completely right there is still a one in four chance the technique will work. If it does not work most likely you will be banned off of the Xbox live. This is however safe to use if you have an Xbox that Is already banned.

One very interesting feature is that you can change the startup menu with your own menu. Another amazing feature would be generating Xbox live for life. Meaning the mod chip renews your membership with the unassigned codes. This can only work if your consol is not already banned, because if it is this feature is pretty much useless. I am just amazed at what people can come up with. I never in my life would have imagined being able to hack my way into Microsoft’s section for Xbox live.

I never in my wildest dreams would have imagined such an amazing piece of technology. Imagine never having to worry where you left your things. According to this article you can put a chip in just about anything and it will inform you of its current location over the Internet.  I find this feature to be very useful for every household. Never having to look for my things or if they get stolen you can easily find your stolen object. There is even talk of computerizing your entire household for example your oven letting you know when the food is ready, your car will communicate with your credit card to pay for its own oil changes, and much more. What really catches my attention is that it has artificial intelligence. I find it disturbing to know that my appliances will be communicating with each other.

This is not just a step up for technology but a step forward for just about everything. For example crime rates will o down because of the useful tracking system; in a hospital all the medical equipment can be used with patients to make the hospital run more efficient and aid the nurses in their daily routines. Bettering technology betters humanity because humanity is now dependent on technology for example right now I am using a computer in order to communicate with you, if we continue on the path we are on the possibilities for the future are endless.
